A copywriter writes interesting and engaging content for a particular audience (your ideal client).
This may be in the form of website copy, articles, emails, brochures and other marketing collateral. Usually the goal of this is to find new customers and get them to take action (such as buying your product).
When your target audience goes looking for information on your topic, or an answer to a question that you can solve, you want them to find you. You can achieve this by providing content that gives them what they are looking for, then prompts them to interact with your business.
Why do I need an SEO copywriter?
Your SEO copywriter will write copy not only tailored for your ideal client, but also the algorithms of search engines.
Your materials will be more likely to appear in search results when you utilise SEO principles and strategies from the outset. This makes it easier for your next clients to find you.
Remember, even if you have brilliant copy, if nobody is reading it, it's going to waste.
What makes copywriters from Good News Travels different?
At Good News Travels, we're not just ordinary copywriters. We have a background in journalism and PR, which means we are trained to create content that speaks to people first, and then the Google gods. Although we integrate SEO strategies from the outset, this will never be at the expense of producing quality content.
This works in your favour as there's so much more to SEO than just keywords. Google will rank your content based on how useful it is to people, measured by metrics such as how long they spend on the page and if they share it.
Our experience in journalism also means we're no stranger to tight deadlines. This has trained us to be incredibly efficient, yet thorough.
We are also versatile, as we are practised at shifting style, tone and format in an instant. That means we can help you out on more projects, saving time in the briefing and research stage.
How much do you cost?
At Good News Travels, we have an experienced team providing services at a reasonable rate. All our writers are experts at what they do, friendly and easy to work with.
We provide quotes based on the individual needs of each project. Email email@example.com to discuss your project today.
What is your copywriting process?
We tailor our approach to each client, finding the most efficient route to producing brilliant copy that serves their individual needs. For this reason, no two copywriting projects are the same. However, for most of our clients we use the following process.
Step 1: We will get in touch to ask you questions about your project and goals. This is so we can produce an accurate quote.
Step 2: When you accept the quote, we will send you an invoice for the 50% deposit.
Step 3: Once we have received the deposit, we will organise an interview time. This usually covers a background on your business and what you hope to achieve through the project, information on your target audience and questions which will be specific to the project. The process will vary project to project. For example, for proofreading projects or those with extensive materials already available, no interview is necessary.
Step 4: We get to work on writing your copy.
Step 5: We include one round of edits for most projects with additional rounds at an hourly rate. This will be in your detailed quote. With copywriting, we generally use track changes and comments for amendments.
Step 6: We send a final copy and when the job is complete, we will invoice you for the final amount.
Step 7: All done! We love to see when your project goes live, so be sure to keep us updated when it launches!
